Top songs of 2011 (part. 1)
When making my traditional top albums of the year, I found myself a little disappointed. In my opinion, 2011 was not a great year for music - and clearly not as good as 2010 was. Or at least, not an “albums year” but rather a “songs year” - except maybe for the brilliant “The Year of Hibernation” by Youth Lagoon, “Tomboy” by Panda Bear and “I’m Having Fun Now” by Jenny & Johnny. That’s why I decided to make a top songs of 2011 instead of the usual top albums.
